Would people sit four hours in the rain to listen to a motivational speaker teach them practical strategies for living a better life?
Would people stay four hours in the rain to learn some effective techniques for positive thinking and personal happiness?
Would people sit four hours in the rain to help a discouraged man on a bridge?
Would people stay four hours in the rain to pray for their country, the world, and themselves?
Would people stay four hours in the rain to worship and praise God?
Would people sit four hours in the rain to watch Super Bowl XLI?
What really matters to people?

Then go out and break some tackles in your own life tomorrow, the rest of the week, and through out the coming year. All the best to you and thanks for reading my blog! Sincerely, Steve Simms

Has a bad habit grabbed you around your waist trying to pull you to the ground? Break the tackle! Is a negative emotion attempting to force you into self-destructive behavior? Break the tackle! Is discouragement riding on your back? Break the tackle!
Get behind your blockers. Stiff arm your foes. Give 110%. Make a courageous second effort. Be a playmaker. Twist and turn and churn out more yardage. Run over the defense. Secure the ball. Tuck your head and hit 'em hard. Make the play. Nothing less than a first down or a touchdown. Fall forward.
This advice is not for the Colts and Bears running backs in tomorrow's Super Bowl. If they don't give their all in an effort to win, what difference will it make in your life? But if you don't give your all in a personal effort to break the tackles in your life, you will suffer much.
So get out of the stands. Get suited up. Get off the bench. Get into life's game. And break the tackle! I want to see your jersey dirty! Your life is too important to sit and watch. Don't let your opponents run over you! BREAK THE TACKLE TODAY!

If Americans spent as much time getting excited about living a super life as they do getting excited about the Super Bowl, what a wonderful life they could have! Think of all the wasted money, effort, passion, and excitement just to watch men play ball.
How incredible it would be if our society would exhibit the same level of effort, passion, excitement, and money about self-improvement and helping others! Wow!
"Home Improvement" is a start in the right direction! I love to see the enthusiasm for helping other people. That excitement serves a purpose and makes someone's life much better. But hype about a ball game -- what does it accomplish except give us a distraction from our real lives? Parents watch the game and ignore their children. Many wives are Super Bowl widows. We waste all that passion about something that has absolutely nothing to do with us or improving people's lives, except for the Manning's and other football families, owners, and players.
For many people the Super Bowl is the most passionate moment of their year. It even beats the bed room. Their lives feel empty so they pour their energy into the big game and miss the reality of a super life!

If someone is seeking out and killing stray dogs in your neighborhood, does it matter?
If a person who thinks she has too many cats is killing all her new born kittens, does it matter?
If someone hires a doctor to kill her unborn baby does it matter?
Why or why not?
